LV FFA places in state dairy contest
The milk quality and products team from the La Vernia FFA participated in the State Contest April 20 at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
The team of Sarah Pierdolla, Jordan Bailey, Kasey Reinen, and Braden Recker placed third, with Sarah placing fifth-high individual.
The team, along with Ashton Knight, qualified for the state contest by placing second at the Area VII contest held April 14 at Texas A&M University in College Station. At the area contest Sarah was second-high individual; Braden, third; Kasey, seventh; and Jordan, 13th-high individual.
