The Three Oaks 4-H Club’s “Team Contagious” has qualified for the 2012 Texas 4-H State Roundup Share-The-Fun Contest, set for Wednesday through Friday, June 13-15. at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

The team of seven is in the Senior level of Share the Fun competition, Celebrate 4-H category. The team received first place at both the county and district levels in April to advance to state competition. The team consists of Gordon Jones portraying a veterinarian; Brandon Brysch, public speaker; Molly Jarzombek, swine show exhibitor; Annika Eckel, fashion show contestant; Kelli Kolodziej, horse show contestant; Jennifer Kruse, a baker in the Food Show; and Claire Dallmeyer, a clinic nurse/receptionist. The team will be judged on material chosen, talent, creativity, showmanship, costumes, and props.

The “Celebrate 4-H” category is just one of six available for competition.Sarah Keith, president of the Three Oaks 4-H Club, also qualified for the State Roundup competition in Food Challenge.
