1925-2012

Ambrose Urbanczyk, born Dec. 5, 1925, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012.

He was a native and former resident of Panna Maria, Texas, and lived most of his life in San Antonio. He worked at the Lone Star Brewery for 38 years, and was a rancher and gardener.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Magdalen Moczygemba Urbanczyk.

Ambrose is survived by his sons, Ken Urbanczyk and wife Jeanette “Mika” and Mark Urbanczyk; and grandchildren Edward “E.J.,” Kelsey, and Leslie.

The family would like to thank the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville for the care he received.

A visitation was held Friday, May 18, from 2-4 p.m. in the Dellcrest Funeral Home in San Antonio, and at 6 p.m. in the Holy Name Catholic Church in San Antonio, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery in San Antonio.
