1937-2012

Haywood Alton Hartman passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in Seguin, Texas. He was 75 years and 26 days old. He was born in a country home to Alton and Letha Hartman on April 20, 1937.

Haywood is remembered as a strong Christian who served his family and the Lord faithfully. Haywood remained a resident of the Seguin area most of his life and was rarely seen without his cowboy hat.

Haywood was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his younger brother, John Douglas Hartman; his nephew, John Douglas Hartman Jr. and wife Beth; his nieces, Cheryl Letbetter and Terrie Salerno and husband Bob; and numerous other friends and relatives.Thank you, Haywood, for the love and support you gave us all, said his family.

A celebration of Haywood’s life and entry to heaven was held Friday, May 18, in the Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek in Seguin.

A viewing was held from 9:30-11 a.m., followed by the service and fellowship.
