1921-2012

Dorothy Griffin Wilkinson, 90, of Montgomery, Texas, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012. She was born on Oct. 26, 1921, in Bebe to Albert Lee and Jessie Blane (McGee) Foulds.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Wilkinson; her daughter, Cheri Sue Stephens; her three brothers, Carl D. Foulds, J.T. Foulds, and Clifton G. Foulds; and a sister, Isabel Moody.

She is survived by her son, Quircus “Bill” Griffin Jr. of Montgomery; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.

Visitation was held Saturday, May 19, from 4-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.

A funeral service was held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Terry Davis Jr. officiating.

Interment followed in the Bundick Cemetery near Smiley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
