FLORESVILLE -- After a 33-25 win over the junior class, the Floresville High School senior class of 2012 will end its powder-puff career with a 2-0 record.

The junior class has historically won the yearly flag football matchup, and things looked as though they were headed that way again this year. In the end, however, it was the seniors who claimed the 8-point victory.

The juniors came out strong and led throughout the first half, but the seniors mounted a third-quarter comeback with a change in strategy. The senior defense snatched three interceptions in the second half, and turned two into scoring drives en route to the win.

The annual event is held to raise money for Floresville High School’s Project Graduation.
