Connally Memorial Medical Center’s Stroke Support Group assists survivors and their loved ones in becoming educated about strokes and stroke prevention. The group presents programs of interest to stroke survivors, caretakers, and families.

The group also helps to identify devices, lifestyle changes, and agencies that are important to recovery.

Survivors and their caregivers will also learn how to communicate with each other and the health care provider.

Membership is composed of stroke survivors, family members, caretakers, nurses, and physical and occupational therapists. The group meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. at Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville. For more information, call Debbie Smith, SLP, at 830-393-5447.
