Folklife Festival starts June 8
Texans, save the date, and celebrate your culture at the Texas Folklife Festival taking place on the grounds of the Institute of Texan Cultures at 801 E. Cesar Chavez Circle in San Antonio Friday through Sunday, June 8-10.
The three-day celebration kicks off from 5-11 p.m. Friday, and will combine 40 unique cultures, represented by 250 participant groups, a menu of 150 unique items, and 60 skilled artisans. Let’s not forget the six stages of music, dance, and entertainment that will be sure to liven the crowd.
Saturday, the gates will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 7 p.m.
