STOCKDALE -- With the breezy, dry conditions of the Stockdale rodeo arena, ropers in the seventh annual Buck Taylor South Central Texas ICA [Independent Cattlemen’s Association] Benefit Team Ropin’ event April 28 had to contend with conditions reminiscent of the trail drives. But the dust did not deter the 256 teams that participated in the No. 8, No. 10, and No. 12 roping events. . . .
