The 81st & 218th Judicial District Community Supervision and Corrections Department (Adult Probation) is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Supervision Officer for ATASCOSA COUNTY. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordination Board in Criminology, Corrections, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement/Police Science, Counseling, Pre-Law, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services Development, Public Administration, or a related field that has been approved by the Community Justice Assistance Division (CJAD), or one year of graduate study in one of the above mentioned fields, or one year experience in full-time casework, counseling, or community or group work that has been approved by CJAD.  This position requires some evening and/or weekend work. Salary: Negotiable, plus Regular State benefits. Members of the East Central High School Class of 1962 met April 28, 2012 for their 50th class reunion. Everyone especially enjoyed meeting with Moe Bandy who took time from his busy schedule to travel from Branson, Missouri, to be with his classmates. Members are [front from left] Joanette (Waldie) Smasal, Geneva (Willemin) Barr, Alicia (Solis) Walker, Cheryl (Marshall) Landman, Mickey (Delgado) Villacis, Alice (Schaefer) Markle, and Teacher - Nellene Pittman; [middle row] Venge (Muenchow) Rakowitz, Judy (Jones) Bryant, Jo Beth (Inscore) Hegwer, Molly (Smith) Butcher, Valerie (Ullrich) Hicks, Kay (Cover) Fowler; [back row] Moe Bandy, Albert Mihalski, Johnny Blocker, Tyree Wiseman, Anthony Doege, Joe Golla, George Watkins, Anton Kyrish, Roy Barr, Yvette (Champagne) Crumbliss, Robert Gravell, Leslie Jenke, and Bobby Phillips. They gathered at the home of Mildred and Albert Mihalski in Lone Oak to enjoy a BBQ meal and an evening of reliving high school memories.

How cool is that! Can't believe it's been 50 years since Moe Bandy graduated from East Central. He never forgets his hometown, and is still a great entertainer.
