Carolina C. Servantez passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in Floresville, Texas, at age 79 years, 5 months, and 1 day. She was born Dec. 28, 1932, in Bay City to Hilario and Juvencia Carreon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Domingo Servantez; her daughters, Marrelana Soto and Maria Antonia Aguirre; and a son, Joe Quintero.

Carolina is survived by her son, Victor Quintero and wife Tammy of Lima, Ohio; son-in-law Tema Soto of Floresville; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Wednesday, May 30, at 5 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.

A funeral service was held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Gordon Lindley officiating.

Interment followed in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Floresville.

Family members served as pallbearers.
