Compared to last week: Hay prices mostly steady on slow movement. Recent rains in areas of Texas have made getting hay out of the field difficult. Reports of a resistance from dairies as they are still using up old contracts and continue to wait for new crop prices to establish. Many producers are in the process of cutting and baling. Good outlook on crop for the new season with hay growers receiving rain that was hard to come by last year.  . . .
