East Central High School FFA member Lexie Ricks and Brehm Farms of San Antonio lassoed in three grand champion honors during the 73rd annual Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show held March 9-18 in Mercedes.

Lexie exhibited the grand and reserve grand champion heifers at the Rio Grande Valley Junior Livestock AOB Show March 10. Lexie also placed fourth overall in the showmanship round.

Grand champion heifer MAGS XY Recorder is the two-year-old daughter of MAGS Sugar & Spice and DHVO Deuce 132R.

Reserve champion heifer Brems Sedelia is an October 2010 daughter of MAGS Trail Drive and Brems Pukka.

Brehm Farms of San Antonio exhibited the grand champion heifer and the grand champion bull at the March 11 open AOB show.

The grand champion heifer, Brems Cameo, is the March 2011 daughter of Carrousels Natalie and MAGS Savage.

The grand champion bull, Brems Du Monde, is an October 2010 son of ANLC Dennisse and Blaque Rulon.
