FLORESVILLE -- In a move aimed at clarifying some of the city’s responses to material weaknesses presented during the 2011 audit, Floresville City Manager Andy Joslin has released a three-page document today to the Wilson County News, offering more detailed responses.

The initial responses given by the city to the material weaknesses were vague, Joslin said.

The release of this document (linked below) comes just hours before a scheduled budget workshop to be conducted at Floresville City Hall in which Tom Smith, comptroller for the city of Floresville, will be available to answer questions regarding city finances.

The swimming pool isn't the only place that skimmers operate. And cash makes it so much easier. That and brother-in-law record keeping.

Went to the city pool and bought a family pass this weekend - NOW you must pay in CASH which is a new policy. It would seem to me that this policy really isn't in the spirit of the audit. Isn't that why the audit said to... More ›

So the question remains.... What exactly is Castillo hiding that the littled knows? Just come clean with it, and move forward. Sherry, you should feel more threatened by your inept mayor than some little ol constituent.

If someone were talking about me and I have nothing to hide then I would defend myself with the truth. It's obvious that little d, Gomez, Castillo and Joslin can't do that because they are guilty. They are guilty of not doing... More ›

In The Know - I agree. Having the police there just adds to evidence of this counsels insanity. This counsel has lost touch with reality - of who they are - why they were elected - what their job is - who they work for - Trying... More ›
