Offer condolences


Virginia L. Beecher passed away in Stockdale, Texas, on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the age of 87. She was born in Detroit, Mich., to John and Olive Bone Hibbitts in 1924.

Virginia was preceded in death by a daughter, June Brown of Biloxi, Miss.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Hunt of Stockdale and Patricia Patterson of Harlingen; her son, David Ellis of Stockdale; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren, with one on the way.
