Nayli Laine Schmidt is running for Little Miss Rodeo Stockdale and is currently a first-grader at Stockdale Elementary School, where she has perfect attendance and is an A-B student. She is the daughter of Greg and Angelicque Schmidt of Stockdale.

A member of the First Baptist Church in Stockdale, Nayli is an active member of the Girls in Action for Missions at her church, and is excited about her first camp trip this July!

She is active in Spurs League Basketball and Drama Kids International acting classes. Nayli loves all animals, especially horses and rabbits, and plans to grow up and be a veterinarian one day to help take care of animals. She is looking forward to 4-H and the Junior FFA programs in Stockdale. Nayli is also learning to drive/show miniature horses.

Her community involvement includes the first-ever “Ashley Fewell Adopt-a-Highway Trash Cleanup” on U.S. 87 and her first time at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Wilson County, in which her team raised $2,731 to fight cancer!

Nayli is in her second year of membership in the CCA New Tide Program and is in her second year of the Star Tournament. She enjoys family time at the coast and loves to fish, sing, read, dance, and play with her animals, including two African Spurred Tortoises weighing more than 50 pounds each!

She is very excited at the chance to ride on the Watermelon Jubilee float and to represent her hometown of Stockdale, Texas!
