•Floresville Locavore Market: LBM Farms (Patty Mishler), Bert’s Farm (Melinda and Darrell Cokely), Don Deaton, Dzuik Family Farm (Chris Dzuik), and Grassland Oasis (Fred and Amber Lyssy) will offer local produce, baked goods, fresh eggs, canned goods, jams and jellies, and grass-fed beef, goat, and lamb. Each Saturday in June, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Finders Keepers parking lot located at 1303 C St. at the former Baumann’s Grocery store in Floresville.

•Green Country Farm: Jay and Brenda Pullin offer organic blackberries and fresh sweet corn. The Pullins offer berry-picking from standard and thornless varieties. Last day for picking is Saturday, June 16, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 1880 C.R. 331, Floresville. The Pullins ask to check their website before you come. If the times are not convenient, call ahead and they will try to accommodate your schedule.

•Rhew Orchards: The Frank Rhew family offers soft canner peaches to make preserves, jams, cobblers, or just to eat, available in various quantities; homemade peach ice cream, peach sorbet, “made from scratch” peach cobbler, candies, bread, cookies. Lavender jam will also be available soon. Call ahead or email for cobblers and pies. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. at their stand located at 762 C.R. 403, 5 miles east of Floresville off S.H. 97.

•Garden Fresh Produce: Chester Laskowski and Fred and Diane Spencer offer a variety of produce, fresh eggs, and Laskowski’s “Chetski’s hot sauce,” a chow-chow made from farm-fresh produce from Laskowski’s garden. Hours are Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., sometimes later, at their location on U.S. 181 N. between the South Texas Ice and Richardson Bros. in Floresville.

•La Vernia: Robert and Lois Matula offer fresh vegetables, including shallots, assorted zucchini, cucumbers, okra, tomatoes, peppers, red potatoes, onions, and green tomatoes every day at different locations. The Matulas sell produce on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the Shell station on F.M. 775 and C.R. 319, and on Tuesday and Thursday on F.M. 775 (just past the Country Care Manor) and C.R. 344 from 4-7 p.m. Weekend hours in the Witte’s Bar-B-Que & Catering parking lot, located at 12153 U.S. 87 W. in La Vernia, are Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

•Stockdale: Johnny Bush sells his produce at 502 S.H. 123 just north of Stockdale. The family operation offers tomatoes, potatoes, and cucumbers.
The stand is open from May through September.
•Mesquite Bean: Coming soon at 302 F.M. 1346, just behind the La Vernia H-E-B, on U.S. 87 in La Vernia.
