Ashley Ellen Rawls, 18, is the daughter of Esther and John Rawls Jr. The class of 2012 valedictorian, Ashley plans to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio in the fall and major in neuroscience. She plans to gain an education and go into researching the deep ocean that is the brain. While attending college, Ashley hopes to become certified as a massage therapist to help further her education. . . .
