ECHS outstanding senior girl
Brooke Kosub, the daughter of Thomas and Judi Kosub, is an outstanding student who will be recognized as a summa cum laude honor graduate. Brooke is very dedicated to learning and always giving her very best.
She has been a member of honors colloquium as well as a participant in dual credit studies. Brooke is a member of the National Honor Society, serving as the secretary this year. She has also been recognized by the staff as a Superintendent’s Student of the Month.
In addition to dedicating herself to her studies, Brooke has a full resume of high school activities -- most of which involve leadership. She is the historian for Club Life and served as the secretary of the junior class. She also serves as the current president of East Central’s FFA chapter and the president of her 4-H Club. The FFA program is where Brooke has dedicated most of her time, and her countless awards are the fruit of her labor. Brooke has participated on a number of winning teams at the area and state level, and she has competed twice at the national level in Floriculture and Ag Communications. Brooke exhibits cattle and rabbits at local and statewide livestock shows, where she has earned many awards.
She is also active in her church, serving in the youth program and volunteering at church events. Brooke is an outstanding role model for students at East Central and will represent the school well this fall at Texas A&M University, where she will major in agricultural economics.
