Yorktown museum railroad event

The Yorktown Historical Society will host an evening of “Memories and Memorabilia -- the History of the Railroad,” Tuesday, June 26, in the Yorktown Historical Museum at 144 West Main St. in Yorktown.

The event will begin with a reception at 5 p.m. welcoming home Joe McMillan, who will give a presentation at 6 p.m. The museum will be open during the afternoon for display setup and socializing.
