SAN ANTONIO -- The Professional Bull Riders announced that the Top 35 bull riders in the world will compete against the best bucking bulls on the planet when the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series returns to the AT&T Center for the San Antonio Invitational Friday and Saturday, Aug. 17-18.

Tickets begin at $10 and are on sale at the AT&T Center box office, www.Ticketmaster.com, and by telephone at 1-800-745-3000. Bull riding begins at 8 p.m. on Friday and at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Leading the way into San Antonio are home-state favorites Douglas Duncan from Alvin, 2004 PBR World Champion Mike Lee from Decatur, Harve Stewart from Stephenville, and Stormy Wing from Dalhart.

It will be the last chance for fans in Texas to watch two-time PBR World Champion Chris Shivers, who announced in February that he would retire at the end of the season. The 33-year-old, who won the PBR World Championship in 2000 and 2003, was the first rider in PBR history to reach $1 million, $2 million, and $3 million, and he currently ranks third in career earnings with more than $3.9 million.

For more information on the PBR, visit http://pbr.com.
