The new 2012-13 St. Hedwig 4-H officers were elected at our meeting that took place on May18. At this meeting, we enjoyed a barbecue with hot dogs, hamburgers, and all the fixings. We held our regular 4-H meeting, elected officers for next year, and awarded our club scholarship to Christi Schick, 2012 graduate of East Central High School.

Our 4-H meetings are held at the American Legion Hall in St. Hedwig and will start up again Thursday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. The club manager is Karen Knox, who can be reached at 210-648-6730 if anyone is interested in joining St. Hedwig 4-H.

Shelbi Knox is the St. Hedwig 4-H Club reporter.
