ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. David F. Ximenez Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Sunday, June 10, 2012, in his residence in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 75 years, 10 months, and 17 days. He was born in Floresville July 23, 1936, the son of Beatrice and David Ximenez Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Floresville and a devoted member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Alice X. Trevino, Julia X. Aranda, and Elia X. Castro.

David is survived by his wife, Gloria Perez Ximenez of Floresville; and his children, Magdalena X. Serna of Floresville, Debbie Ximenez of San Antonio, Gloria Merian and husband Kenneth of Yoakum, Tony Ximenez Sr. and wife Christina of Floresville, Jesse P. Ximenez Sr. and wife Sandra of Poth, Jesse G. Ximenez Jr. and wife Denise of Floresville, and Nicholas R. Ximenez of Floresville. He is also survived by his sister, Evangalina X. Gonzales and husband Cleto of San Antonio; his brother, Joe “Billa” Ximenez and wife Gloria of Floresville; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 12, at 5 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville, with the Rev. Phil Henning officiating.

Interment followed in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Floresville.

Serving as pallbearers were Tony Ximenez Jr., Levi Serna Jr., Jason Serna Sr., Aaron Guerrero, Alex F. Ximenez, Nicholas R. Ximenez, Mark Ximenez, and Jesse G. Ximenez Jr.
