Police officials in Floresville and Poth are debunking rumors of a serial rapist terrorizing those cities.

“There is not a serial rapist active in these areas,” said Lt. Chad Clark of the Floresville Police Department in a press release issued June 21.

Chief Lambert Jendrzey of the Poth Police Department said his city has not had a report of a sexual assault this year. In Floresville, Clark said three have been reported. Two of the investigations have been cleared and the third involves an adult victim who has not cooperated with the investigation.

Anyone who is a victim of a sexual assault is urged to immediately call 911.

Common Man, We can do better than this. Look, San Antonio has the donkey lady, and the tracks. You got the chupacabras out there all over the place except Floresville. If were gonna start a rumor, lets do better than a serial rapist.

I can definitely state that those of us in the northern subdivisions off Hwy 181 never see any law enforcement officers patrolling our area, especially at night.

To Ms. L, and to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation, such an incident should immediately be reported to law enforcement. The person who left you that note could be left to do far worse if he/she is not stopped. Ladies, ... More ›

Would be helpful to the community in Floresville if the locations and date of these incidents could be reported so as to keep the citizenry on the lookout, if they are recent especially.
