STOCKDALE - A single-vehicle rollover accident on U.S. 87 and Main Street here sent one man to the hospital this afternoon.

Trooper Cory Holmes of the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol said the driver of the vehicle, Andre Jefferson of Stockdale, ran through the stop sign while traveling on Main Street.

Jefferson, who was traveling alone, was unable to exit the vehicle on his own and was removed by rescue workers.

He was transported via Stockdale EMS to Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville with non-life-threatening injuries.
