ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Sharon and Albert Zunker Jr. of Falls City, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jordie, to Cody Fields, the son of Chester Fields and Tracy Fields of San Antonio.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Leo and Irene Moczygemba of Hobson and Thelma Zunker of Falls City and the late Albert Zunker Sr.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Florence Goebel of Winchester and the late Albert Goebel, and Elizabeth Fields and the late S.W. Fields.

Jordie, a 2006 graduate of Falls City High School, is a 2010 graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business management. She is currently employed at Pioneer Natural Resources as an operations tech.

Cody, a 2003 graduate of Bandera High School, is a 2009 graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He is currently employed at the Karnes City Independent School District as a high school social studies teacher and coach.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 3 p.m. in the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels with a reception following at Boulder Springs.
