The Catholic Family Fraternal of Texas (CFFT/KJZT) Annual Social Meeting will be held Saturday, June 30, after the 6 p.m. Mass in the Parish Hall of the St. Boniface Catholic Church at 358 C.R. 220 in Hobson.

Sister Rebecca Janacek. RN, BSN, MSc, MCH from the Incarnate Word Convent in Victoria, will give a brief presentation about her progress in establishing a Medical Mission for the Pokot Community in Rotu, Kenya, in East Africa.

A silent auction will be held to raise funds for Sister Rebecca’s work to help and purchase a new fire truck for Falls City. The CFFT/KJZT state office will match all funds raised up to 50 percent. Refreshments will also be served, and the public is invited.

For more, call Margaret Ryan at 512-496-9729.
