Wiatrek makes dean’s list
Samantha Jo Wiatrek has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at Texas State University in San Marcos.
On April 26, she was inducted into the Alpha Chi Honor Society, for which only the top 10 percent of the graduating class are eligible, as it is a co-educational society whose purpose is to promote academic excellence and exemplary character.
Samantha is also an active member of Alpha Lambda Delta, Golden Key International Honor Society, Phi Upsilon Omicron, and Sigma Alpha Lambda.
She is a 2008 graduate of Poth High School and is majoring in family consumer science in the College of Applied Arts.
Samantha is the daughter of Joe and Trisha Wiatrek of Kosciusko.
