East Central High School would like to recognize and congratulate its two top-ranked senior students of the 2012 graduating class, Matthew Anderson and Allison Lamm.

Matthew Anderson

Matthew Anderson, the son of Daryl and Gayle Anderson, is the highest-ranking senior of the graduating class of 2012 at East Central High School. He served as the drum major for two years in band, as a class officer all four years of high school, and as a student in the Honors Colloquium program. He has enjoyed participating in One-Act Play and has been honored to represent East Central as a Boys State participant, a San Antonio Express-News Student of the Week, and a page for the State Senate. He will be attending Southern Methodist University in the fall as a Hunt Scholar, and is planning to major in English with a creative writing specialization.

Allison Lamm

Allison Lamm is the daughter of Glenn and Annette Lamm. She not only is an academically accomplished young woman, ranking second in her class, but also an integral member in several other extracurricular activities. She was an officer of the Honeybee Varsity Dance Team, as well as Student Council. Allison participated in the Honors Colloquium program, and on top of her countless school-related responsibilities, managed to maintain a job throughout her high school years. Allison looks forward to attending Trinity University in the fall where she will double major in business management and computer science.
