Zidek, Kolodziej wed in Floresville
Mr. and Mrs. Keith John Kolodziej
Kellie Ann Zidek and Keith John Kolodziej were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, March 10, 2012, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Phillip Henning and Deacon Scott Donaho.
Florence Kolodziej was the organist for the prelude. Choir director Harry Kiolbassa and members of the St. Hedwig choir provided vocals for the ceremony. Bonnie Byrne was the organist and also the soloist for “Ave Maria.” The choir also sang the traditional Polish hymn “Serdeczna Matko” as a special request of the bride and groom.
Liturgical readers were Clifford Kotara and Mary Ann Korzekwa.
Kellie is the daughter of Janie Zidek of Floresville and the late Milton Zidek Sr., and the granddaughter of the late Charlie and Emma Zidek and the late Emil and Barbara Richter, all formerly of Floresville.
Keith is the son of Al and Elaine Kolodziej of Floresville, and the grandson of the late Frank and Julia Kolodziej, and Louis Hons of Hobson and the late Dorothy Hons.
Jackie Vargas served as the bride’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Natalie Pollok and Kristen Weaver. Julia Weaver was the flower girl.
Karl Kolodziej was best man. Groomsmen were Milton Zidek Jr. and Jacob Kolodziej. Ring bearer was Dustin Zidek. Ushers were Christopher Kotara and Frank Schmidt. James Paul Weaver was the junior usher.
A reception, dinner, and dance were held in the SPJST Hall in Floresville.
The newlyweds honeymooned in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and are now residing in Floresville.
