Painter, Garcia to marry Sept. 1
Jonathan Ray Garcia and Christa Raynell Painter
Rick and Shaula Painter and Sam and Carla Nicholson, all of Harrisonburg, Va., are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Christa Raynell Painter, to Jonathan Ray Garcia, the son of Ray and Diane Garcia of San Antonio, Texas.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Bill and June Shoemaker, formerly of Harrisonburg, Va., and the late James and Elizabeth Boyer, formerly of Fort Valley, Va.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Dan and Ella Trevino of Stockdale, and the late Raymond and Catarina Garcia, formerly of Smiley.
Christa is a 2003 graduate of Harrisonburg High School and a 2006 graduate of Blue Ridge Community College with an Associate in Applied Science in information technology. She is employed at Rosetta Stone as a tier 3 senior product support engineer.
Jonathan is a 2002 graduate of William Howard Taft High School in San Antonio. He is employed at VCE as a cloud operations engineer. The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, in The Barn at Aspen Grove in Elkton, Va., followed by a honeymoon to Nassau, Bahamas.
The couple plan to reside in the Dallas, Texas, Metroplex area.
