Tara D’Lynn Moy has graduated summa cum laude from Texas State University in San Marcos on May 12, with a bachelor’s degree in English and teacher certification.

While in college, Tara received the Liberal Arts Award for Academic Excellence in 2010-12, and was a member of the University Honors Program since 2010. She was also a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society, Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization, and Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society.

She has accepted a teaching position at Falls City Independent School District and has also been admitted into the graduate program at Texas State University and will pursue a master’s degree while teaching.

Tara is a 2009 graduate of Falls City High School, and is the daughter of Leroy and Debbie Moy of Falls City.
