Rose Mary Sczepanik

1936-2012

Rose Mary Sczepanik went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the age of 75 years. She was born in Kosciusko, Texas, on July 6, 1936, to Victoria Wiatrek and Conrad Dugi Sr.

Rose is remembered as a very religious, loving, and caring person who was devoted to the Lord, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fabian Sczepanik; her parents; her brother, Elias Dugi; and her grandson, Brandon Sczepanik. Rose is survived by her sons, James Sczepanik and wife Debbie, Gerald Sczepanik and wife Jackie, Patrick Sczepanik and wife Yvonne, and Donald Sczepanik and wife Irma; brothers Frank Dugi and wife Florence, Benjamin Dugi and wife Grace, Conrad Dugi Jr. and wife Rose, and Chester Dugi and wife Melba; sisters Regina Foegelle and husband Adrian and Gladys Billimek and husband Bobby; brother-in-law Pete Sczepanik and wife Lailey; sister-in-law Alice Mohr; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Wednesday, June 27, from 3-9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. in the Brookehill Funeral Home in San Antonio.

A Mass was celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in St. Jerome’s Cemetery in Martinez.
