Trees down on SH 97 cause closure

Sgt. Thomas Silvas of the Wilson County Sheriff's Office has informed the Wilson County News that as of 11:04 p.m. SH 97 E, from FM 1922 to the US 87 Junction, is currently closed because of five large trees that have fallen onto the roadway. Workers from Floresville Electric Light & Power System and Texas Department of Transportation currently are in route to help clear the scene.
