St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton will hold its annual Czech Day Celebration on Sunday, July 15, in the parish hall and church at 1608 Campbell Ave.

The celebration will begin with a Polka Mass at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Father Kazimierz Olesky, accompanied by the St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church Polka Choir from Corpus Christi.

After Mass, enjoy an authentic Czech meal that will include sausage, Czech potatoes, homemade sauerkraut, green beans, peaches, dessert, and tea, which will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $7 per plate. The “Markmann Polkateers” will provide entertaining Czech music as attendees dine.

Homemade kolaches and sauerkraut also will be sold.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Matthew Building Fund.

For more information, call 830-769-3687.
