INGRAM -- A lonesome whippoorwill can be heard at The Point Theatre in Ingram. The musical “Hank Williams: Lost Highway” runs through Saturday, July 23, in The Point’s outdoor theatre at 120 Point Theatre Road South off S.H. 39 in Ingram. Showtime is 8:30 p.m.

“Hank Williams: Lost Highway” lays open the story of Williams’ life through his music. The musical journey takes audiences from his early days playing honky-tonks in the South to his triumphs at the Grand Ole Opry.

All the while, Williams shares his lyrical and musical gifts that still resonate with fans today. Songs like “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” “Move it on Over,” “Hey, Good Lookin’,” and “Your Cheatin’ Heart” gain a special poignancy set against the context of Williams’ life.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by visiting The Point Theatre Box Office or calling 830-367-5121. Tickets also can be purchased online at
