Fred Horton Skinner III, 42, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, in Floresville, Texas. He was born in San Diego, Calif., Nov. 17, 1969, the son of Linda Gilkerson and Fred Horton Skinner Jr. He was a Floresville resident.

Fred is survived by his wife, Christi of Floresville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Skinner Jr. of Floresville; his daughters, Malinda Skinner of Canyon Lake and Elizabeth and Sarah Skinner, both of Floresville; his sisters, Laura Gonzales and Sandra Melton, both of Floresville; his brother, Michael Lee Skinner of Floresville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service was held in Marion.

Inurnment will follow at a later date.
