1934-2012

F. E. “Flash” Moczygemba, 78, of Elgin, Texas, formerly of Austin and Wilson County, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was born on Jan. 18, 1934.

F.E. was the beloved husband of Shirley; Dad to Mark and Brian; “Papaw” to Amanda Moczygemba, Alesha and Doug Keeler, Jeremy and Jeanine Moczygemba, Courtney Montague, Sky Crain, and Garrett McDermott.

He is survived by brothers Norman and Alton; sisters-in-law Darlene and Cecilia; mother-in-law Willie Mae McKinney; sister-in-law Patricia McCall; and brother-in-law Kenneth McKinney; nieces Pam, Sharon, and Barbara; nephews Scott and Larry McCall, Alan, Larry, and Jeff Moczygemba, and Kenny and Chris McKinney; great-grandchildren Desirea, Jaden Taylor, and Landon Keeler; and many cousins.

A visitation was held Sunday, July 8, at 6 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. in the Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin.

Celebration of Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Monday in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elgin.

Interment followed in the Elgin Cemetery in Elgin.
