ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Pedro and Eva Bautista of La Vernia, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Sandra, of Floresville, to Fred Flores of Floresville, the son of Erasmo and Ophelia Flores of Poth.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Sidonio Bautista and Ramona Urquiza, and Pauline Ybarra of La Vernia and the late Federico Ybarra. She is employed at Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union as an assistant branch manager.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Crisanta Flores of Floresville and the late Baldemar Flores, and the late Tiodoro and Maria Sanchez, formerly of Poth. He is employed with the CCC Group as a project manager.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, July 28, 2012, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville, Texas, with the Rev. Phil Henning officiating.
