STOCKDALE -- The Stockdale Tackle Football League, which competes as part of the Christian Federation of Police Officers (CFPO) league, is looking for children ages 7-12, as of Sept. 1, to participate in competitive, full-contact football. The kids will learn discipline and a knowledge of the game, and, most of all, will have fun.

Practice sessions will be held three times per week in Stockdale, and all games will be played on Saturdays in San Marcos. Participants will be playing in a well-organized, 34-year-old league, and will face talented and motived athletes from Navarro, San Marcos, Buda, Kyle, Luling, New Braunfels, Seguin, Lockhart, and other surrounding areas. Players will be coached by certified CFPO coaches, and their experience will benefit the future football programs at Stockdale and Nixon-Smiley.

For more information, call David Dunn at 830-534-1644 or Brandon Zella at 830-534-2526.
