Are you new to the La Vernia area and have a school-age child or children? Then attend and meet others at the Newcomers Fair on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 6 p.m. in the La Vernia Independent School District (LVISD) Auditorium next to the high school.

Attendees will learn everything they need to know about LVISD, including:

•Registration Infor-mation.

Educators will be on hand to answer any questions and provide information for all of the LVISD campuses.
