FLORESVILLE -- Crews currently are on the scene of a natural gas leak at the Heritage Plaza shopping center -- which includes the H-E-B supermarket -- at the corner of S.H. 97 and U.S. 181 here, where a vehicle reportedly struck a gas meter behind Domino’s Pizza at approximately 11:45 a.m.

Officers from the Floresville Police Department have evacuated the H-E-B supermarket and all other stores in the plaza. Police also have restricted all access to the complex. Members of the Floresville Volunteer Fire Department are on scene. Workers from CenterPoint Energy were able to cut the flow of gas to the meter.
