Several readers have contacted the Wilson County News, advising they have been having difficulty with Sprint wireless services in the Stockdale area, with some reporting no cell phone or Internet service for the past three weeks.

The newspaper contacted the wireless provider regarding the complaints. Customer service representatives with the company have advised that a Sprint “small cell site” in the San Antonio area is out of service, but will be repaired by Wednesday, July 25. The work to bring the site back online includes an upgrade to 4G service, the representatives advised, adding that customers should receive better Internet service and improved cell phone connections after the work is completed.

Customers experiencing issues with their Sprint service should call 1-888-211-4727.
