Found: 2 brindle cows, on Sept. 12, at the end of La Gura Rd. in South Bexar County, located between South Loop 1604 and the San Antonio River, Gillett Rd. on east and Schultz Rd. on the west. Call after 8 p.m., 210-310-9206.

M. Currer, a resident of Floresville, Texas, the past 18 years, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, at 1:15 p.m. in the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville at the age of 93 years, 7 months, and 19 days. Donald was born Oct. 27, 1918, in Canada, the son of William Martin and Mary Agnes Vernon Currer.

He worked in under security with Lockheed Air for many years. Donald faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army. Donald was a member of the Floresville United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane Elizabeth Megert Currer.

Donald is survived by his children, Charlie Currer of Magnolia and Susan Wehe and husband Mark of Floresville; his grandchildren, Jeff Wehe and wife Ingrid and Heather McMahon and husband Ryan; his great-grandson, Cooper Wehe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 29, at 8:15 a.m. in the Floresville United Methodist Church in Floresville officiated by Pastor Michael Mumme.
