New teachers
The La Vernia Intermediate School would like to send out a great big welcome to their new staff that will be joining the campus for the 2012-13 school year.
The following employees will be new additions to the Intermediate team in August: Wendy Pruitt -- third grade; Cindy Stolowski -- third grade; Dawn Doege -- third grade, Special Education; Bridget Helmke -- fifth grade; Debbie Royal -- fifth grade; Katrina Kosub -- Paraprofessional; and Destiny Cannon as the new counselor.
The administration is very excited about all of the new additions to the school and is looking forward to a great year!
Junior high
décor
The La Vernia Junior High takes a different approach when it comes to choosing décor for the campus. The administration and office staff are all very proud of the talented art students enrolled at La Vernia Junior High, and proudly display their artwork throughout the school. Many of the office staff members display the masterpieces done by the students in their offices and on their workstations.
In addition, the junior high has chosen to decorate the ceiling tiles in the hallways and office area with individual illustrations.
Next time you visit La Vernia Junior High, remember to look up; you will notice some amazing creations!
