Editor:

I am a Vietnam veteran and proud of it. The commander in chief is always our U.S. president.

For people to say that President Obama is a communist is not only disrespectful, but also a disgrace and an insult to all former and present servicemen having served or still proudly serving our nation.

I don’t think any veteran would want to serve under a communist leader.

People should express their personal thoughts by simply voting for the person of their choice, instead of insulting our commander in chief.

God bless our servicemen and President Obama.

JUAN J. VILLARREAL SR.

Be Careful.....Sir, perhaps you should read article 2a(4) of the UCMJ before insulting the CINC. Military retirees drawing pay are not civilians.
