FLORESVILLE -- The Floresville Athletic Booster Club will hold its annual Ice Cream Social Friday, Aug. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. at Eschenburg Field.

The booster club invites all athletes, parents, and the community to join in the fun. Everyone is invited to go meet and greet the coaches, as well as the students who will represent the football, tennis, volleyball, cross country, and Mighty Tiger Band programs. Middle school athletes are also invited to attend. Those in attendance can cool off with some ice cream, and will have the opportunity to join the booster club.

This year, those who sign up as Elite members will have a chance to win a parking spot for home football games. Two parking spots will be given away during the Ice Cream Social. Three additional parking spots will be auctioned off. There also will be a spirit item table with this year’s items.

Each high school athlete’s family is asked to bring a half-gallon of ice cream (one per family, not per athlete) and each member of the Mighty Tiger Band is asked to bring one 3-liter bottle of soda to the concession stand at 6:30 p.m.
