FLORESVILLE -- The 24th annual Kosciusko Open, a fund-raiser for the Kosciusko Athletic Association, will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, at River Bend Golf Club at Floresville. Tournament play will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

The event is scheduled to begin with a players party Friday, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m. in Kosciusko Hall. A barbecue dinner will be served for those in attendance, and 15 percent of the players pool will go directly to the athletic association.

The format for the tournament will be four-person best-ball scramble, and the entry fee is $185 per player, which includes the players pool.

Prizes will be awarded to the top teams, and total prize money will be determined by number of entries. Additional cash prizes will be given for the longest drive and closest to the pin on each par-3 hole.

For more information or to register, call Casey or S.V. Pruski at 830-391-1069 or 830-745-2626.
