Dylan Reiley has been awarded an $800 Texas State CDA Memorial Scholarship through the Falls City Catholic Daughters Court St. Genevieve No. 917.

Dylan graduated summa cum laude in the 2012 class of Clear Springs High School (CSHS) in League City. He was a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and a four-year member of the CSHS Marching Band and drum line. He also excelled in piano.

Dylan was a member of the PALS organization, where he mentored many elementary and intermediate school students. He was twice awarded the Superintendent’s Scholar Award and the Distinguished Achievement Scholar Award. Dylan accumulated more than 400 hours of community service in organizations such as St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Interfaith Caring Ministries, and the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.

He routinely volunteered for many different events at the local elementary and intermediate schools, as well as at his own high school. Dylan also enjoyed weekly visits to the local Alzheimer’s home and interacted with students with special needs at their annual field day.

Dylan is the son of Gary and Jeanette Reiley of League City and grandson of Lambert and Rosalie Titzman of Pawelekville, and the late Gary and Earlene Reiley, formerly of Kenedy.

He will join his brother, Landon, at Texas A&M University in College Station to pursue a degree in chemical engineering.
