Compared to last week: Alfalfa traded mostly firm. Chopped Alfalfa sold $5-$15 higher. Wheat and Coastal Bermuda remained mostly steady. Trade activity and demand was moderate. Many dairies and feedyards are purchasing hay on an as needed basis or feeding hay already bought on contracts. Remains hot and dry throughout most of the state despite a few scattered showers reported. The southeastern region continues baling the third cutting. Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted. . . .
